WWII US M1 Helmet Swivel Bale
Item: WWII2813

Late-war M1 helmet.  Has a rear seam, manganeese rim, swivel bales, no chin straps.  Original paint is a nice even dark OD with cork aggregate mixed in.  Heat number on the shell is "1231E" located on the front.  Has some surface oxidation to the inner crown.  Fine uncleaned and unaltered example.  No liner.
